The Python courier shoulder bag is designed to protect a large DSLR with lens attached and up to four additional lenses. Opening the bag is a case of unfastening two buckles. The deep internal compartment benefits from extremely rigid, padded dividers, beside which are two additional dividers to protect lenses that are stored on top of each other.
Smaller sized DSLRs and prime lenses are best suited, but, as we found, it’s possible to squeeze a 70-200mm f/2.8 telephoto zoom alongside an enthusiast DSLR with standard zoom attached. The outside dimensions are 394 x 267 x 152mm – turning it into a great general-purpose messenger bag when the internal dividers are stripped out – and the shoulder strap is made from a nylon material similar to that used to make car seat belts.
